Room for rent is a story of a couple whose relationship is in bad shape. While they have all the material possessions, the man is not happy with his wife, constantly complaining of her homemaking skills. The wife is also getting wary of his husband's womanizing spree and unappreciative attitude towards her.

Until one day, the wife agreed to her dance intructress and her boyfiend to rent a room in their house. Unknown to the wife, her husband and dance intructress were each other's ex's. Their lives and relationships were shaken as the dance intructress started making moves to win back her ex during the very first day of their re-encounter.
